TURKEY BURN TAPAS FLOW WITH ARLENE ON SATURDAY 11/26, 9:30 - 10:30 am
This flow will burn off your turkey, sides AND dessert calories as you move for 45 minutes. Start with Sun Salutations and expect a sequence that builds heat and commitment.

Kundalini yoga soothes the nervous system and supports the body, bringing balance and strength to help meet the challenges and stresses of everyday life. Gentle Kundalini is suitable for everyone, regardless of yoga experience. Please join me as we journey toward greater vitality and authenticity!

Passive use of floor poses to promote flexibility in the fascia tissues starts this class. Extra gentle and slow movements will promote stability and circulation in the joints through guided alignment. Class includes inspirational guided meditation, breathing techniques, and stress release.
WEDNESDAYS 6-7 PM
The class will begin with yin yoga: passive use of floor poses to promote flexibility in the fascia tissues and also promote health and stability in the joints through alignment. The second part of class will transition to restorative yoga- poses that open space in the body to allow for rest and healing.
Copious amounts of candlelight will be used, as well as some gong & bowl sound bathing.

Practice the skill of TAPAS, which means heat, fire, purification and transformation. This flow class will keep you moving for 45 minutes as class starts with a Basic Sun Salutation and adds in sequence sections that build heat and commitment. This flow class will strengthen your commitment to show up for yourself, even when you don't want to, in order to fulfill your intention to evolve into who and what you want to be in the world. This class will build your self-confidence, reminding you that you are capable and poweful. Advanced Level 1-Level 1.

The practice of yoga offers concrete tools to help us address the physical, emotional, and existential challenges that seem to increase with years. This series of classes is designed to help you find your own, unique expression of yoga—one that will sustain you throughout your lifespan. Each class will include a document to assist you as you develop your own personal practice.Although the content of each class will be similar, the focus of each will be distinct.· Class 1 will be devoted to intention. What is our motivation for practicing yoga? Why is this important?· Class 2 will be devoted to breath. How does linking body, mind, and breath make a difference in yoga and, more importantly, in life?· Class 3 will be devoted to alignment. What does it really mean to be in proper physical alignment, and why does this matter?· Class 4 will be devoted to balance. Does yoga offer more than tree pose?
